Flash and Firebird 0.70

I am trying to get the Flash plugin working in Mandrake 9.2 with Firebird 0.7.

I installed everything exactly the way I should have. When I go to about:plugins in the firebird address bar, nothing. When I start it from the command line, it does start; but I get this error:

LoadPlugin: failed to initialize shared library /home/liquidzoo/.mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so [libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory]

I'm not sure what to do from here. It looks like it's looking for a lib file that I don't have. I'm not sure why I don't have it or why it's not working if I do have it. Does anyone have any ideas?

BTW, I am running MDK 9.2, it's not working on either my desktop or my laptop. Desktop is running kernel 2.4.22-10 (first release of 9.2) and my laptop is running kernel 2.4.22-25 (from cooker). Same error on both machines.
