sylvain
I have this error message when i try to install enemy territory on my mandrake 9.1 : [sylvain @pc et]#./et-linux-2.55.x86.run Verifying archive integrity..../et-linux-2.55.x86.run: line 1: tr: command not found expr: erreur de syntaxe expr: erreur de syntaxe Error in MD5 checksums: d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e is different from f76b8599439dd882a52ba038d4700edc I already installed it once on my pc without problem and i also installed it on a friend's pc using that file. I checked the md5 checksum of the file et-linux-2.55.x86.run and it's correct. tr program (in textutils package) is installed and when i open the file i don't see any tr command in line 1 :-/ I don't understand why i got this message Downloading it again didn't change anything. Does anybody have any idea about that problem ? Edited November 15, 2003 by sylvain
zero0w
It seems tr command is missing. You will need to install it... As for the md5sum problem, it's weird; I think you can find ET-2.56 and some post relating to the problem here: http://www.linuxgames.com/news/feedback.ph...action=flatview
ShadowFoxLSU
I would also say to re-download ET. I had that problem once, and it was a currupted DL.
