mtweidmann
Becouse you have a translation delay and so, you lose the improvement the 64bit The big advantage the Athlon64/Operton is meant to have over the Intel chips is that they don't need translation layers instead they have native support for 32bit code. mtweidmann
Dabs.com have it listed for £349.01 which is quite steap when you add the cost of a new motherbord and RAM to it. They also have a "Athlon 64 FX-51 S940 " (?) for £648.99. For anyones whose interested the QuickLinx code is 2SCFWS.
