MottS
Hi all Just noticed something. Let's assume I do something on virtual desktop #1. Now I hit the right side of the desktop with my mouse and BAM .. I'm on virtual desktop #2. If I hit the left side I'm back on virtual desktop #1. Is this a new feature or I just discovered that? Thx MottS
scoopy
hmmmm, my 9.1 don't do that. But if I click the wheel, I can choose a different desktop.
pmpatrick
I think it's a kde feature. I can do it in 9.1 with kde 3.1.2. You set the feaure in kde control center>look & feel>window behavior in the "Advanced" tab. In the bottom there are options for "Active Desktop Borders". If you tick always enabled you get the behavior you describe; to get rid of it, tick disable.

iphitus
Other Window managers have that ability too. It's a WM function
sud_crow
true true... for example in fluxbox, if you drag a window to one side or the other (of the desk) you go to the next or previous desktop with that window
