mtweidmann
I would guess that the version libgtk+2.0-devel that urpmi found in its list of sources is installed. That doesn't mean it is version or higher 2.2.2 you might have to add enother source that has a more recent copy (eg Cooker). As to automake I think that be the name your using, try using the gUI and browsing around for it. Be careful using Cooker rpms are they are development files. Guest mahiles
HELP! I tried installing libgtk+2.0_0-2.2.3-2mdk.i586.rpm and foolishly skipped passed a dialog which was uninstalling a lot of things. Now I can't even run "Install Software" or the MCC!! Help :s Is there any way to tell which it uninstalled so I can reinstall?!
Steve Scrimpshire
First try installing the drakxtools from the command line. I'm not in Linux right now so I can't be more specific. I think you need drakxtools rpmdrake To install those try using urpmi urpmi drakxtools rpmdrake
scoopy
Not that I know of... but, I thought I get you a list of some of the core "drake" files to get you started in your rebuild. [scoopy@localhost scoopy]$ rpm -qa | grep drake mandrake-release-9.1-1mdk menudrake-0.7.3-4mdk rpmdrake-2.1-15.1mdk mandrake_desk-9.1-4mdk mandrake-mime-0.3-1mdk userdrake-0.5-5mdk harddrake-ui-9.1-31.3mdk mandrake-galaxy-9.1-21mdk harddrake-9.1-31.3mdk The rpmdrake is the one that handles installing, but if that is not installed... how do we install it? I guess you will have to boot up the install CD and go from there. The rest of this list will depend on your chosen desktop, window manager, and apps. Note to bvc: See, I finally remembered this grep command without having to look it up.
