Guest FraNnNky Posted October 14, 2008 Share Posted October 14, 2008 Hi Can anyone help me to get this problem fix I have just switched from windows xp pro to Mandriva 2009 I am a new to this I have 2 hard drives - one for Mandriva, the second is splitted into 2 NTFS partition When I try opening the content of one of the partition I have this error message : org,freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume.PermissionDenied: Device /dev/sdb5 is listed in /etc/fstab. mindwave Posted October 14, 2008 Share Posted October 14, 2008 sounds like you may not have NTFS support missing. the exact name of the file escapes me but someone here will remember it. plus even though you can "see" it in koqueror, you have to make sure you go into MCC and mount it. j Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
