Guest Technochris1
how do i do that
bvc
kt400 is the prob....happen to me as well. At the first splash screen at boot press F1 and at the next screen type linux noapic or linux noapic acpi=off If those don't do it and md5sum is ok, you'll have to go into the bios and change some settitngs for BIOS/OS. bvc
it still doesnot work :xas in, md5sum is ok? what settings shouild i change in the bios....What you really want to find is a PlugNPlay setting that you set to NO. There are different ways this is worded. I don't have a pNp anything in my bios so I had to go through everything and make sure the settings were ok. Basically, from my limited understanding (help! Ixthusdan  )if Auto is a choice, choose it. If you have a choice between BIOS and OS choose OS. At least that's what I had better luck with. Everythime I tried BIOS for my usbmouse I'd lose it.

bvc
:? OK, do it again, no boot parameters, just normal install and when it happens again go through Ctrl>Alt>F1 Ctrl>Alt>F2 Ctrl>Alt>F3 Ctrl>Alt>F4 Ctrl>Alt>F5 and see if there are any detailed clues as to why this is happening.
