MadHattr Posted October 27, 2002 Report Share Posted October 27, 2002 Hey i have recently installed mandrake 9.0 on to a old emachines etower 500is it has most of its hardware integrated into the motherboard sound, graphics, 56k modem. im trying to get the onboard video to work. I am not sure what type of video card it has im almost posative it is a sti card because thats what it set as the default driver Section "Device" Identifier "device1" VendorName "ATI" BoardName "ATI Mach64 Utah" Driver "ati" Option "DPMS" EndSection I tested opengl and it worked when i ran glxgears and it worked but the quake3 dedicated server still cant load default.cfg witch leaves me to belife that 3d accelerationisnt working im not sure what is wrong and im a newbie if any of you know what i can do to get this compuer working as a quake3 dedicated server please tell me thanx Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
