Your proxy.cfg is not listing any plf repos?

I would suggest following liquidzoo's instructions, and be sure to add the PLF-free and PLF-nonfree repos.

Welcome to the board! :)

Have you tried removing and re-adding all of the urpmi sources?

urpmi.removemedia -a to remove them all, then use the easy urpmi page to add the sources again. It might help.

Yes i did it almost 10 time...!! But still it is giving me the above error....!! :wall:

have a look at my urpmi.cfg file...!!

It's not a matter of repos.

win32-codecs do not exist for your 64-bit architecture... only for 32-bit.

Do you have any good reason using 64-bit OS, apart from triggering trouble?

By the way David, I am glad to see you here fairly often now. :D Saw your many excellent posts over in Mandriva Forum and very extensive too.

I forget how many times I see you post this sort of nonsense. 64 bit = no trouble. Can be a mix of 64 and 32 bit packages, works fine. Don't listen to nonsense that it doesn't work or causes trouble. Things can be done with no problems. So continue to use 64 bit. I do and will continue to do so because it works.

PLF required

Use compressed index, much smaller than normal, with less informations

I use SMART is better ....Lex
