Not on vfat filesystems, as they are no metadata there (vfat filesystem has no such thing). You can always run a filesystem check on them, using say gparted, but for vfat there is always the risk of losing data with it, and not really much you can do-even if you run this check under windows. Unless you have a VERY good reason to use vfat in non-removable drives, thou should avoid it like plague. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
