ShadowFoxLSU
Hola, I was curious if Mandrake would have support for the AMD Althon 64 when it is released later this year....
tyme
9.0 supports the Opteron (and hence so should 9.1, as long as inheritance holds true) so I assume there would be support for the AMD Athlon 64, since they are probably both based on the same (or a similar) 64-bit chip. DragonMage
Well.. Kernel 2.4.21 support opteron, so I guess that the next version of Mandrake should be able to support opteron and amd 64 natively. Besides.. since the hammer series is still a 32 bit cpu (albeit with 64 bit extensions), you can still use your old mandrake, not just in 64 bit mode (that is.. if I am correct).
