Post your /boot/grub/menu.lst please. You still need the map function and maybe others as well. When I had a win98 install for just games on my slave hd, this was my /boot/grub/menu.lst

title Games

root (hd1,0)

rootnoverify (hd1,0)

unhide (hd1,0)

hide (hd0,0)

hide (hd0,4)

map (hd1,0) (hd0,0)

map (hd0,0) (hd1,0)

#map (0x81) (0x80)

#map (0x80) (0x81)

makeactive

chainloader +1

You won't need;

hide (hd0,4)

 

basically you are making windows think it's on the master (one and only so to speak)Windows likes that :roll:
