Guest JaseP
My DFI AD75 A+ (KT333 chipset) has a problem in that the Southbridge is not supported, so DMA support is compromised. AGP has to be turned down to 1X otherwise there is insufficient signal strength to work with nVidia. So I really can't recommend it... If I had it to do over, I would have gone Abit or something. DragonMage
Isn't DFI one of those PCChips manufacturers? You know.. cheap hardware that doesn't work well with anything more complicated than dos? Anyway, ECS is ok.. but the QA really is horrible. Me.. I recommend something like Abit, MSI, Asus, and Epox. FIC, Soyo and Shuttle is ok if you don't tweak around.
ramfree17
Stay away from ECS::brought to you by another unsatisfied ECS customer:: since there some substantial anti-ECS opinions here then i would assume that acquiring an ECS Desknote is just buying a linux headache? :? ciao!
