Guest Jose
My Apache web (html) files are located at /var/www/html/. But since I wish to put two different web sites in the /var/www/folder for development purposes. Should I create a sub folder for each? For example /var/www/html/site1/ and /var/www/html/site2 or should I put both new folders in /var/www/? What do you guys do?
johnnyv
i always just add a new folder within /var/www/html/ you can just add a index.html in /var/www/html/ & add links to the different folders index pages. apaches document root is /var/www/html so if you wanted to put a folder in /var/www/ you would need to change apaches doc root. Guest Jose
Thanks for the help. For now I am glad it is safe to create sub folders. I am just testing for now.
