ianw1974 Posted December 11, 2007 Share Posted December 11, 2007 Normally, you can right click to unmount a drive. I have my /dev/sda2 mounted on the desktop, and I can right click and unmount it. If you just want to remove the icon from the desktop but leave it mounted, then run gconf-editor, and in here apps/nautlius/desktop to remove the icon.
