edc
When 3d desktop is enabled, log out menu shows only "end current session" there is no "restart computer" and "turn off computer". When 3d desktop is disabled everythink is ok. Is this some bug or it's right?
Mitchell
Are you using gnome or kde? I'm using kde with 2008.0, and no problems there. Log out shows end current session, reboot computer, and shutdown.
SilverSurfer60
It has been my experience that when using 'metese' that as you say when logging off the only option is to end current session, but if using 3d cube then all options are shown for logging off. It has been this way for me from the introduction of 3d Desktop. Metese is a gnome desktop whereas 3d cube is kde, and I think gnome handles these things differently. anyone
XGL probably causes it; I have to use XGL to use Compiz Fusion and then I lose my options too. Has nothing to do with Gnome or KDE, I think, because I once had both installed and lost the shutdown options from both when using Compiz (with XGL).
