arctic
Umm... your KDE 3.5.6 files are running into a conflict with KDE 3.5.4 files, which means that you tried to upgrade KDE in an improper way. Have you activated the backports mirrors with easyurpmi? Usual procedure for upgrading KDE: Uninstall the old KDE, install the newer KDE from backports. For upgrading the whole system, run from a terminal as root urpmi --auto-select
theYinYeti
I recently did a whole upgrade (--auto-select) from Mdv2006 to Mdv2007.1, and I got a lot of such errors, with dependencies going down to basesystem, and perl (upon which urpmi depends)... In such a case, you have next to no choice but to do some carefull 'rpm -e --nodeps', and be on your own. Yves.
AleXxiO
but what about the wrong signature? what it comes from? wrong downloading or bad system?
scoonma
Suppose your system will be okay. In most cases bad signatures/md5sums indicate an error on the server you installed as repository. I stumble over these quite regularly. Check 24h later and everything will be okay in 90%. You can also choose a different mirror to download from, but if the error is in the original package, it will be distributed all over. scarecrow
It may sound stupid, but when prompted do you want to proceed? (s/N) try pressing "y" instead of "s" I have a similar issue under Debian when using messages in Greek under console...
