i have this issue too with my ati hd3450...after ctrl+alt+bksp system freezes and the only way to restart it is the soft press of switch-on button, then it closes in a normal way...someone solved?

hi, i downloaded these scanner drivers for my epson dx4400 and mandriva 2008: http://www.avasys.jp/lx-bin2/linux_e/spc/DL1.do there are rpms, but conflict with libsane, so i dunno what to do, my system is up to date and i'm really wondering how to fix it could you help? thanks

i try installing but didn't go...i'm too much inexpert so i don't know where to go in configs...i'll try with qemu or something :) ps: i could solve if there were a linux program (available in windows version for my friends) that supports multi video conference, i mean a videoconference with more than 2 guests (skype can't do it , nor ekiga etc)

yes so i have to install it?? i tried to go with a console in the windows partition, in the oovoo installed folder, and did wine oovoo.exe... and it gave me a lot of errors etc...so i'll try installing it :D thanks ps: my webcam is a xboxlive cam, it will be never recognized in linux will it?

i already have the kernel sources installed i haven't the kernel-source-stripped but it seem not to exist in the kernel i have (the default laptop kernel released with mdv2008.0) so what am i supposed to do?
