Guest anon
Your file above seems OK in fact you have the same card as me. The latest tar file for 8.2 is : http://download.nvidia.com/XFree86_40/1.0-...1.0-3123.tar.gz Which is different from the one you d-loaded, I sugest you try that or the pre-compiled rpm : http://download.nvidia.com/XFree86_40/1.0-....18_10.i386.rpm If you try the above, remember to get the matching glx file and remove the old nvidia kernel before proceeding. Glitz
Try getting rid of: Subsection "Display" Depth 32 Modes "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480" ViewPort 0 0 EndSubsection Glitz.
Guest frew
Arg, I have been trying to install the nvidia drivers on 9.0 and I am getting those silly symbols messages...hehehe, but seriously...what is wrong? bvc
Arg is rt. At least you can rebuild them. I've been helping users all week, all the require pkgs are install (devel), I even compiled my kernel, but not nvidia :?
qeldroma
Please have a look at the "LINKS" above, there you will find TEXSTAR, and there, under "/contrib" well working LM9-NVIDIA-rpm's..
