photoworks Posted May 7, 2007 Report Share Posted May 7, 2007 i tried to install my canon i950 on mandriva 2007 spring. there is an option to load the .ppd file from the canon printer cd rom or from the windows partition. however, i cannot find the file on either. scoonma Posted May 7, 2007 Report Share Posted May 7, 2007 (edited) Hm. Maybe you could use a printer driver originally designed for MacOSX (for CUPS use). The driver on this page is in .dmg format. You could tranfer it into iso format to mount or burn on CD with a tool I found here: http://vu1tur.eu.org/tools/ If you're lucky you may find a valid .ppd file inside.
