As you can see....there more than likely is no solution to the mouse problem. Now about this 'security is overrated' thing.... Linux is not trying to rope anyone into buying $250 dollar programs for security. It's built in...important files equivalent to .dll files can only be changed by root. If you click on an attachment that some ingenious user created to infect a Linux machine and you are a regular user surfing the net, then the script can do nothing but mess up that user's account. If, on the other hand, you are root when you run this script....anything goes.
