ramfree17
what the hell is emelFM? hahaha, next time you might want to check what freshmeat has to say about it. freshmeat.net, for the unintiated, is the almighty record keeper of OSS projects (well not exclusively OSS but thats another point). kinda like google. :#: ill try what i can with pekwm tonight (assuming i can get some themes thru my hernia-infested,turtle-fast prepaid dialup connection :( ) ciao! Guest joehill
way ahead of ya... it's GTK 1.x though, and I am pretty loyal to ROX. I wish ROX would add a two pane view like that though.
ramfree17
I wish ROX would add a two pane view like that though. nevermind two-pane view, all i want is to be able to drag and drop files between two rox windows (to move or to copy them). ciao! qnr
emelFM, Worker WTF are those? Well, emelFM has been answered, Worker is based on an Amiga program: Here's what my system says: sh-2.05b$ gaze what worker ; gaze website worker Worker is a filemanager for X-Window on UNIX. It's a clone of the filemanager "Directory Opus", a very famous program for Amiga-systems. The dirs and files are shown in two independent panels (similar to MidnightCommander). http://www.boomerangsworld.de/worker/ Here's a screenshot: http://linux.aliboom.com/images/worker.png
ramfree17
these theme files are about 3 or 4 KB, remember the themes use .xpm, not .png. that's good, the only thing i have to watch out for is the connection. :( you can do that can't you?! what version are you running?? really? i compiled rox before i left for finland (around 4 months ago). i guess i should spend less time with trying to install gnucash and start upgrading my system (but with 9.1 on the way, maybe its prudent to just wait). :) ciao! qnr
Yes, drag and drop works fine in Rox. I'm using version 1.3.
Guest joehill
drag and drop is really well implemented in 1.3.7 cool configs like middle drag moves, left drag copies, replace newer, etc.
MoonChild
in the terminal I love pico, same as nano i guess. Anyone use Pine for mail. Supposed to be pretty good. Greetings from the University of Washington (the developer of Pine). Pine works miracles, and is highly configurable with filters, autoreplies etc. Pico is the email editor embedded into Pine, so if you like Pico, you have it in Pine too.
