I use GQmpeg, mp3blaster or just plain old mpg123

Leave it to QNR and his weirdo Atari-loving self to choose one no one else has!

er, downloading GQmpeg now

Heheheh

What do you mean, "warp across desktops" - are you talking about the "sticky" button?

i use mplayer, but a few things bug me about it:

the playist interface is sooooo crappy, it needs to be mor interactive as in xmms style

its no in qt ;) so it looks out of place in kde

no in pekwm, like in fluxbox, there is a feature called desktop warping, where you can drag an app over the edge of the screen to the next desktop.

xmms won't do it, but sticky is almost as good.

xmms for audio.. Although sometimes I use mpg123 just for the fun of it.

For video.. mplayer.. definitely..

Now if there is a good midi player with nice instrument patches.. timidity is sadly lacking compared to Yamaha SYXG or Roland VSC :(
