ffi
Is there a way to update the "Start" menu entries a lot of old removed programs still show up. I guess it's the mess left from upgrading from 2006->cooker->2007 and the change in menu structure...

No man page. This is all I know about this.
ffi
Thanks but that didn't do anything (and neither did xdg-desktop-menu forceupdate ) $ update-menus -v run-parts: executing /etc/menu.d/icewm /etc/menu.d/icewm: line 9: /home/ffi/.icewm/menu: No such file or directory writing to /home/ffi/.icewm/menu /etc/menu.d/icewm: line 14: /home/ffi/.icewm/menu: No such file or directory run-parts: /etc/menu.d/icewm exited with return code 1 my menus are still a mess with old programs and lot's of double entries..... mystified
If you're using kde you can use the menu editor. I don't know about gnome.
