mtweidmann
Since installing RC2 Kmix has gone a bit mad. ITs huge, and most of the entries don't seem to do anything. Help! Mandrake 9.1 RC2 + Cooker ABit AU10 (fm801) sound card.
Guest ndeb
Same problem with RC2. Kmix exceeds the screen width. Surprisingly, texstar's kde-3.1 (for mandrake-9.0) has no such problem. I have no clue what mandrake is trying to do.
DragonMage
Same problem with me. I think that kmix comes from the cvs version? It is probably used for controlling 5.1 capable soundcards. But since I don't have one, it is useless for me. I prefer aumix to kmix anyway.
Guest ndeb
Whats worse is that kmix (in 9.1rc2) now does not give 100% volume (it says 100%). When I run aumix, I see 77% and I have to use aumix to get it to 100%. Kmix GUI is worse and its functions have been screwed up. Two steps back from mdk-9.0.
