If i switch back to console and to X again, i can sometimes reset the sound and it is at 100%. Another thing, i believe it's the same cause, is, that my mouse acts weird if i have sound on in UT2003. If i play it from the live-CD without sound, all works well. But if i try it under LM9, the mouse resets while moving, jumping to the upperright corner. DragonMage Posted March 5, 2003 Report Share Posted March 5, 2003 Have you tried the alsa driver for your sound instead of the NVidia's own driver? You may have to upgrade to Alsa .9.0 RC5 or above for the i810 sound module to support NVidia NForce2 audio. I am using Mandrake 9.1 RC2 now with Alsa .9.0 RC6 and so far it's ok.. much better than the NVidia's own audio driver in fact. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
