Lone Posted August 24, 2006 Share Posted August 24, 2006 hi right im trying to connect my mates madriva rig to the net via ethernet cable to the router but for some reason in the bar by the clock it ses eth0 connected or sumthng like tht and wen i click connect it ses connection failed got to control centre but im not sure what to do please help thanks :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ilia_kr Posted August 25, 2006 Share Posted August 25, 2006 When you are in Control Center, go to Network tab, click on the 'setup network' or something like this, I don't have mandy right now so can't tell exactly. Anyway, set up your connection as LAN, and follow the wizard. Also, check if you sould connect through DHCP or a static IP. In most cases DHCP option will work, so go on it. Good luck.
