Jza
So I have a user who has an issue playing audio on Google Videos flash. It seems to be a problem with the audio wrapper artsd but I might be wrong. The audio played once, while Kaffeine was on, but after shutting down kaffeine the audio was gone. This lead me to think that is something going on with artsd. Real player plays stream with no prolblem. Can anyone help me regarding this. RikRas
I have not changed anything, but tonight I went to Google Video and everything plays! Go figure.
RikRas
It now appears that this being caused by KlamaAV. When I lanuch KlamAV, the problem returns. If I quit KlamaAV, and reboot the computer, the audio works on Google Videos. Meerly quitting KlamAV is not enough.
scarecrow
What do you need clamav for? It's useful only on Linux file servers, to protect the windows machines that are present on the LAN. The Linux machine itself definitely does not need it at all.

RikRas
Since I killed the KlamAV, I am OK on Google Videos, but no audio on You Tube. Since their upgrade I guess we are "Left Behind".
tyme
youtube is working fine on my end...version: 7.0.63.0 checked with this video - sound lagged a little, but that's it. given, i'm not in mandriva, but flash is flash...or it should be anyways :P
scarecrow
Youtube is working for me, but for some odd reason only under Firefox is working properly. Under Konqueror or Opera (both using the same flash plugin) the video does load, but it's very snappy... Under other sites using flash, there's no problem. Using the same flash version as Tyme ( 7.0.63.0 ) and probably the same distro. Edited July 20, 2006 by scarecrow
