joaopa
Hi, I have a Logitech quickcam messenger QV61 ( Vendor 046d, product 08a6). I installed the qc-usb driver and compiled it. quickcam module is really loaded, and videodev too. I have no errors message. Unfortunately, I have no /dev/video file. When I configure netmeeting, I can configure the sound. I see the graph bar of the sound moves. So the microphone works. But netmeeting can't see the video hardware: "pas de peripherique video trouvé". Any idea or (better) any solution Thank you Joaopa
devries
Q: And finally, I look for /dev/video* (to set the videodev on gnomemeeting) and I haven't any videodevice. A: mknod /dev/video0 c 81 0 chmod a+r /dev/video0 ln -s /dev/video0 /dev/video http://www.ee.oulu.fi/~tuukkat/quickcam/FAQ RTF :)
