Trying to run Paperport 6.5 (document scanning, handling and OCR software) Running MDV 2005LE and have installed wine which is running according to MCC services. CD'd to the setup.exe of my paperport file then from consloe did ' wine setup.exe " and I get this. "Could not load 'KERNEL.DLL' required by 'ISSET_SE', error=2" Is this a Windows system file and if so, once I find it, where do I place it? scarecrow Posted December 3, 2005 Report Share Posted December 3, 2005 If you hadn't run wine before, you first need to configure a fake windows drive. Read the wine documentation, or try a tool named "winetools" which is supposed to make life easy for you. All that said, adding twain support to wine is everything but easy.
