epretorious
I just joined Mandrake Club and downloaded/installed 10.1 Official only to find that Firefox isn't available through the RPMDrake Package Manager. Am I doing something wrong or is Firefox just not available for 10.1? Edited October 6, 2005 by epretorious
spinynorman
You can get it from rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat/4/idpl/1947043/com/mozilla-firefox-1.0.4-1.101mcnl.i586.rpm.html
epretorious
Thanks, Norman! Just for reference: Why isn't firefox available through rpmdrake?
scarecrow
It is. Take a few minutes to setup your urpmi repositories, else its like trying to repair a watch with an axe. The build is in the contrib repo, but it's rather old (0.10). You can get a newer one (1.0.4) from here
ianw1974
Another alternative, is downloading from mozilla.org. That's what I've tended to do. There's so many ways. The easiest, is the rpm method, as everyone has suggested so far :P
dexter11
Thanks, Norman! Just for reference: Why isn't firefox available through rpmdrake? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> At the time of 10.1 Mandrake used Mozilla as the No. 1 browser.
