klipp
Finally got Mandriva installed on this Toshiba M45-S165 (Laptop) but can't come up with a combination that will allow Xorg to come up. Looks like it needs a special driver. I can't even get a vanilla vga screen to come up although it used 1024x800 for the install screens. This dog has ATI Radeon Express 200M Series display adapter. Help, I'm dying on the vine!
devries
Use the vesa driver.
scarecrow
Using vesa is a quick way to have a usable (but not pretty) X without too much fiddling, indeed. Then you should checkout here for a better solution. Edited August 26, 2005 by scarecrow
