Guest int
Hey there, I have a problem with getting my Acer WarpLink wireless network card to work :< I'm using Mandrake 10.2 and so far i've got it to recognise the card, been able to get it up in the "Network" bit as "wlan0" which is good :] Now i'm having some troubles installing the driver for it using ndiswrapper. I point ndiswrapper towards the .exe in the CD drive (where the windows drivers are) but I get this error: An unexpected error has happened: insmod'ing module ndiswrapper failed at usr/lib/libDrakX/modules.pm line 66 Any ideas what to do? I really need this wireless card to work as it's on my laptop :< Cheers :]
devries
DrakX would suggest a problem with a Mandriva utility. Try modprobing from a conole and see what that gives.
Guest int
Not too sure what to modprobe (kinda new to this malarky :P), so I did " modprobe usr/lib/libDrakX ". That came back as not found, although I could be doing it wrong :<
