Openbox [solved]

Hi

I've tried different linux distros. Ubuntu and Mandriva are the ones that suite me. Now I'm running Mandriva LE 2005 and KDE.

When I tried out Ubuntu I was quite pleased with the Openbox WM.

Now I'm running KDE with Openbox as WM. But I've a cuople of issues that I want to solve and trie out;

1. How can I run Openbox without KDE? I just want to try it. To do that, I think it's suggested to load "kicker" and/or "kdesktop" applications, how?

2. In Ubuntu Openbox had a "Obconf" that enabled me to switch themes. I tried to get it with urpmi but no such package found. Any clues?

Thanks in advance.. greetz from sweden..

By the way, hope this is the right subforum to ask this question..
