Edd
As you may have seen in the two other threads, I had a few problems. I sorted both but the problemm is, when I reboot I have to sort them again because it basically forgets what I did. First off, the driver for the synaptics touch pad does not remember that I turned off one of its features. And the net does not remember anything after "modprobe ndiswrapper". Is there a way to make all these commands run automatically when Linux boots so that I do not have to do them myself? Thanks for all your help :)
spinynorman
Edd - it would be helpful if you raised this in the threads you refer to, otherwise anyone using the solutions posted there, will have the same problem... Thanks :)
