I installed alsa-1.0.8, I edited the modules.conf to put the right info in place, and then from a Konsole window in KDE, I ran alsaconf. I rebooted, and found that alsa is now loading correctly on bootup, and does so successfully, but I still can't get sound in KDE. It errors all the time. Any ideas, please help!
