right ive been readin about them but only with reference to the 2.4 kernal and having mass storeage enabled which i know it is.

 

Its a 9in1 Flash Mover (if that helps) and this is the output from my fstab file

use http://easyurpmi.zarb.org to setup the "updates" repository / media.

 

Then you can just use MCC - software - updates to do your security/bugfix updates.

I think I saw one a few days ago. Just wondering why you didn't use that page. Is the one you gave more 'official' or something like that?

Darkelve - you're right, we have our own mirror here at the site.

 

The zarb.org site is the official one, but I already noticed our mirror was more up to date last week...!

 

As for the updates via the command line: this doesn't show you which packages are available and whether it's a bugfix, security or feature update, but anyway,

man urpmi

should help you out, and I think the command should be:

urpmi --update --auto --auto-select
