Guest colliedunk
Hi there, i'm using mandrake 10 and I cannot open internet acces from the mandrake control centre. The exact error message is "You dont have any configured internet connection. Please run internet access in control centre."... Which is what i'm trying to do. I configured /etc/sysconfig/network, /etc/resolve.conf and /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfgeth1 myself. Any ideas? ChrisM
Have you not tried to use the 'new connection' and Internet connection sharing' wizards in MCC? Or are you unable to launch these wizards? If so,you'll be able to configure your connection within these. arctic
are you setting up a normal dial up connection or a dsl connection? try the wizards. if that fails, please give us some info on your hardware and the contents of the networking files. :)
