DOlson
I've contacted Gavin from http://scorched3d.co.uk/ and he said that they are almost done with the Linux port. Keep your eyes out! It looks like it's gonna be great fun. Here are some direct links to screenshots: http://www.doc.ic.ac.uk/~glc1/scorched/news/roam29.JPG http://www.doc.ic.ac.uk/~glc1/scorched/scr...shots/tank2.JPG http://www.doc.ic.ac.uk/~glc1/scorched/scr...nshots/nuke.JPG
johnnyv
I saw that game a while ago and thought it would be good fun. I used to play the original game ages ago and it was really good.

foot
Sorry to bump this old topic, but Scorched Earth 3D is available as rpm, very playable indeed and reasonably 'polished' (well relatively). For those who don't know its a remake of a reeeally old DOS game (Scorched Earth..though also called 'tanks' if I remember right) - its along the same lines as the Worms series (most similar to Worms 3D). Definitely worth a look! http://www.scorched3d.co.uk/
kmc77
It's a good time waster, for those slow days at work. Just make sure you turn the volume down, so you don't get busted. I got a small tournament going with a few guys at work here. Of course, I really didn't have to worry about getting caught, since it's my buisness. :D
SoulSe
It's like Scorched all over again! Minus the crappy graphics and aweful gameplay! Rejoice!
fangbite
This was a childhood game of mine. I would play for hours at it. (runs off and downloads)
