Hi all,

I have lost all of my programs from my start menu in both KDE and Gnome desktops???!!! I am running MDK 10.1 and I am at a loss as to how or why this has happened. If I run kde-config I get the new window with absolutely nothing in it like not ONE icon!!! Can anyone give me a clue as to what I can do??

thanks in advance

Thanks LZ

No I hav'nt been playing with Menudrake. Actually I cannot remember what I did to cause this one. All I can think of is Mplayer would install but not open. I uninstalled and reinstalled Mplayer a couple of times, that's all.

But when I run that command that you give me it sticks on

Running method: /etc/menu-methods/simplified/gnome

And won't go any further. But by running it I have "Multimedia" back on the menu in KDE but that's all.

Any more ideas???????

HELP!!
