devries Posted September 7, 2004 Report Share Posted September 7, 2004 You want to create a folder under /mnt represeting the formatted partition? That's not possible. The folders you see are links to devices (hope I said that correctly). Use the MCC to 'add' the partition. devries Posted September 7, 2004 Report Share Posted September 7, 2004 So the partition isn't part of home/yourname... If you use KDE, open a konsole, log in as root, type konqueror, right click on the folder representing the partition, choose properties, tab accesrights and change the settings.
