Gowator
plf? You lost me on that one. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> PLF = penguin liberation front http://plf.zarb.org/ they also have a web based utility to add the repository (further help in FAQs) http://urpmi.org/easyurpmi/ :D enjoy.... this brings all the parts missing for legal reasons like DVD playback MP3 ripping, DivX etc etc and its as easy as using the install software icon or urpmi lame from the cli (as root)
axel_2078
Oh, I think I did this today already. I tried adding the contrib, main, and updates, but I just got error messages saying they weren't available or something. How can I check to see if the plf has been added? Is there a command I can type in the console?
Gowator
Yep or you can also use the MCC and the Software Sources manager (or whatever its called) You might need to clean your sources first.... i.e. urpmi.removemedia -a (as suggested I think on easy urpmi) but dont rush this! we have a plf repository here.... but its ftp and I cant see it from work to check .... as root try typing urpmi <then press tab> the command line completion should give you something obvious like listsources :D

devries
I think thac has an upload problem. Remove it (urpmi.removemedia thac) Then try again urpmi kaudiocreator. If it doesn't work update your media with urpmi.update -a and try again.
axel_2078
Ok, I removed thac and this time when I did a urpmi kaudiocreator, it said "Everything already installed." I just found it in the start menu.
