plf?  You lost me on that one.

PLF = penguin liberation front

http://plf.zarb.org/

they also have a web based utility to add the repository (further help in FAQs)

http://urpmi.org/easyurpmi/

:D

enjoy....

this brings all the parts missing for legal reasons like DVD playback MP3 ripping, DivX etc etc and its as easy as using the install software icon or

urpmi lame

from the cli (as root)

Yep or you can also use the MCC and the Software Sources manager (or whatever its called)

You might need to clean your sources first.... i.e. urpmi.removemedia -a (as suggested I think on easy urpmi) but dont rush this!

we have a plf repository here.... but its ftp and I cant see it from work to check ....

as root try typing urpmi <then press tab>

the command line completion should give you something obvious like listsources :D

I was able to add grip, but when I tried to install kaudiocreator, I got an error message:

[root@Mandrake kevin]# urpmi kaudiocreator

To satisfy dependencies, the following packages are going to be installed (3 MB) :

kdemultimedia-kaudiocreator-3.2.3-6.100thac.i586

libkdemultimedia1-noatun-3.2.3-6.100thac.i586

libkdemultimedia1-noatun-devel-3.2.3-6.100thac.i586

Is this OK? (Y/n) y

...retrieving failed: curl failed: exited with 22 or signal 0

Installation failed, some files are missing:

http://rpm.nyvalls.se/10.0/RPMS/./kde-3.2....udiocreator-3.2. 3-6.100thac.i586.rpm

http://rpm.nyvalls.se/10.0/RPMS/./kde-3.2....-noatun-3.2.3-6 .100thac.i586.rpm

http://rpm.nyvalls.se/10.0/RPMS/./kde-3.2....-noatun-devel-3 .2.3-6.100thac.i586.rpm

You may want to update your urpmi database

http://rpm.nyvalls.se/10.0/RPMS/./kde-3.2....-noatun-3.2.3-6 .100thac.i586.rpm

http://rpm.nyvalls.se/10.0/RPMS/./kde-3.2....udiocreator-3.2. 3-6.100thac.i586.rpm

...retrieving failed: curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 404

[root@Mandrake kevin]#

What should I do?
