If you have the dosh lying around though, go for the 5900 so it will last you a bit longer. Everything seems to check out, that CPU could be overclocked easily too ;) , well, thats what I would be thinking when I bought a CPU like that! jlc Posted August 16, 2004 Report Share Posted August 16, 2004 Since your board supports DDR-PC3200 I would get 2 sticks of 512 for a total of 1GB, if your going with 512MB than for that board and to take adavantage of the DDR you would want 256MB x2 sticks. Something else to "consider" is too look into PCI-X mobo's and video cards (nvidia). afaik, it's the future. It wouldn't hurt to get a card w/ 256MB of on-board memory for the future too.
