mystified
I have Mandrake 9.2 installed on another computer. I use a wireless network. Everytime the computer is restarted eth0 fails at boot and the only way I know how to get it working is using the evil internet connection wizard. I'd like a permanent solution to the problem. Any ideas?
liquidzoo
Is eth0 your wireless card? Does 9.2 have a modprobe.preload file? I forgot. It might be possible, if it does, to get the module loaded for the wireless card before it tries to bring up the network. That's the reason it's failing all the time is my guess.
