Firefox Oddity

I'm using Firefox 0.9.6 on Cooker. xorg-x11-6.7.0-0.2.9mdk (at least I *think* that's what I'm running...):

Anyway, if I start X through the DM, I have no problems with Firefox. If I start X through startx, my mouse wheel causes firefox to navigate through history instead of scrolling. Happens in Fluxbox and Enlightenment. Here's my ~/.xinitrc:

E-Wireless.epplet &
E-Time.epplet &
E-Mixer.epplet &
E-Mountbox.epplet &
gkrellm --geometry +906+15 &
exec enlightenment

 

Any thoughts?

I'm using Firefox 0.9.6 on Cooker.

firefox is currently at version 0.9.2 (officially), so how can cooker be at 0.9.6 already???

Did you look in about:config and see what middle button was set to perform, might be there?
