ral
:D ...is there anything I need to know before I do that. :D I have the Nvidia 3123 drivers installed already. I am kind of worried that X won't load or something after the upgrade. Should I back up my files first? Not much I can do with a GUI . fuzzylizard
Everything should be fine. Just install the new card and you should be good to go. However, always a good idea to back things up, so go for it.

SoulSe
You might also have to redo the whole Nvidia kernel bit (only if you have problems though). Otherwise everything should go just fine. I have the same card (MX440) everyone slates it, but I've been enjoying it.
ral
Well, yes, I know it is not a kick ass card, but the neext better card costs twice as much. Think it will be good enough for me too.

Guest ndeb
Which version of nvidia drivers are u using: 3123 or 4191 ? Also, are u using precompiled drivers for mandrake-9.0 or did u compile from the source rpms ?
