Gowator Posted July 15, 2004 Report Share Posted July 15, 2004 is this on a laptop? it looks like its trying to restore a machine not boot it. what computer is it? try and be as exact as you can if its a desktop the motherboard etc. it might have some bios setting saying its currently hibernated ? just checking, you did do what bvc said ? bvc Posted July 15, 2004 Report Share Posted July 15, 2004 post your /etc/lilo.conf so we can remove the resume crap from it. You can access it from rescue mode. Boot with cd1>press F1 at the splash screen>type and run rescue>choose Mount your partitions under /mnt>choose go to console>type and run chroot /mnt then type and run cat /etc/lilo.conf to edit it you'll have to use vi vi /etc/lilo.conf Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
