deiz
I've downloaded the win32 codecs for linux and installed it, typed: 'rpm -ivh win32-codecs.rpm' as root, it installed, no indication of where, so what now?? How do I get XMMS to play WMA files, I was told that this is the way. Bit puzzled now. Thanks
Qchem
As I've always stayed away from using dodgy codecs I don't know for sure, but perhaps you have to select the correct plugin in the xmms options?
DragonMage
Win32 codecs are for movies, thus they are mostly used by mplayer or xine based players. Anyway, if the wma is encrypted (you did remember to uncheck the mark on making the wma unencrypted, did you?) then there is no way to play it other than WMP in that computer.
