SoulSe
We all know Tux, but who is his foxy friend with the goggles on? bvc has him as his avatar... and, from kernel.org: I imagine he is a new character, otherwise I would know him? SoulSe
hmmm.... guess I should have looked more closely, I use Firefox myself. But the question remains: who is the fox on that banner, which is on kernel.org?

aru
We all know Tux, but who is his foxy friend with the goggles on?I imagine he is a new character, otherwise I would know him? No it is not new. In short seems that at the beginning tux didn't like to all of the Fathers of Linux, so Alan Mackey proposed "A hacker fox!" for the Linux logo cometition: Source of info: A Complete History of Tux. (So Far) By Steve Baker. <- worth to read, sure It was a really interesting question SoulSe Edited April 19, 2004 by aru
