Hi,

i would like to get this card for a new compooter that i am building,

what i would like to know is is there any brands that i should watch out for in regards to compatability or are they all OK?

sorry if it is a dumb ass question, but better to be safe than sorry right?

Thank pmpatrick,

what i meant was is there any difference between say the Aopen, creative, xfx, inno3d, Geforce FX 5600 boards that might cause incompatability problems?

After reading some of the threads on the great Nvidia/ATI debate i thought it safer to go with Nvidia

The difference is usually the quality of the board used, the memory, the cooling process, the manufacture, etc. Usually they follow the NVidia's own reference board pretty closely, maybe just putting better memory or heatsink to increase the chance of overclocking. Personally, I find that any board will do, as long as the manufacturer has good reputation of quality.

So no, there usually won't be any incompatibility problems. Quality problems are different beast altogether though. :)
